Walk, run or jog 125km in your own time, to honour the 125 people lost to suicide each week. It’s not about pace or pressure, but showing up & moving with purpose. Fundraising for Heads Above The Waves, supporting those struggling with depression & self-harm
The 125 challenge is all about remembering those who struggle with their mental health and the 125 we lose to suicide every week in the UK. You can complete the distance however you feel comfortable, walk, run or jog, just cover the distance.
In the UK, on average, 125 people are lost to suicide every week. Because of this, we’ve created this challenge to honour them and raise awareness. By taking part, you’re helping raise money for Heads Above The Waves, a charity that supports people of all ages struggling with depression and self harm, helping them find ways of coping and reminding them they are not alone.
You can complete the challenge however you want, walk, run or jog, it all counts. Every step raises awareness and support.
There are no medals for completion, just an incredible sense of achievement for what you’ve accomplished.
